World of Singing amidst chaos

Macross Frontier is actually the 25th aniversary TV series production. It is to celebrate the 25th year of the Macross Franchise. Here’s episode 18 by Lunar Anime. They managed to catch up now. According to wikipedia, Macross Frontier will have 28 episodes, however my thoughts are that it isn’t confirmed yet though. I think it’s going to contain 25 episodes instead. This is in sync with the 25th aniversary so it makes sense for it to contain 25 episodes. Well, I could be wrong as this is just a wild guess. Anyway enjoy the latest mecha with tinge of love triangle. I’m supporting Ranka Lee all the way, but it seems most think Sheryl Nome will be the one to be chosen……..

Minami-Ke Okawari – 02

Well, Ayu displays unpredictable elements in forms of speed this time round as they release episode 02 swiftly after 01. Since Okawari is a Spring series, Ayu is pretty late. However, it’s better late than never right.

I have watched Minami-Ke and found it to be leisure and light-hearted. While most think it is boring, it really is a well designed and written anime based on Slice-of-life and comedy.

You know what, I was initially getting very excited about this well-rounded event that happens once every 4 years. However, I must say that I’m pretty much disappointed. The country that I’m in also provides some of the live broadcast of the games while others are delayed telecast. I must say, why bother to play a delayed telecast. Firstly, it makes one feels like an idiot feeling the atmosphere that has already been passed. Next, it makes one feel foolish why he or she would get excited over something delayed.

Back to the topic, as i’m on a 3 day vacation and this marks the last day, i will celebrate by talking more about anidb. Yes it is anidb. One thing I hate about anidb is that internet explorer is unable to access it. I feel flustered to such websites. They must be bastards who are anti-IE but Pro-FireFox. I would propose a new web browser called watershit. What awkward name and yet still popular. But recently, anidb has been enlightened and hence IE has since been able to access it. However some of the PCs I used still can’t access it. I wonder what’s the problem.

Nevertheless, let’s talk about fansubs. Yeah, fansubs, now i’m talking. Let’s talk about StaticSubs. Since they are veterans in the fansubbing industry lasting since 2003, I have confidence in them. However, I am deeply sadden that their very own project, Wagaya no Oinari-sama is getting delayed again and again. I’m going to become a grandfather by the time they complete the anime. Insteadonly with the help of Eclipse will they be faster. But faster does not really mean prompt releases. Looking at Kyouran Kazoku Nikki, it is behind by about 5 episodes. One thing StaticSubs lack is the power to Distro. Their distro is horrible while Eclipse’s distro is marvellous, hence they work very well as a team. StaticSubs isn’t coping well with their project but Eclipse seems to be able to release Code Geass R2 promptly despite so many joint projects with StaticSubs. Let’s list the projects they are doing.

1. Zero no Tsukaima: Princess no Rondo — SS-Eclipse

2. Kyouran Kazoku Nikki — SS-Eclipse

3. Slayer’s Revolution — SS-Eclipse

4. Wagaya no Oinari-sama — SS

5. Code Geass Lelouch of Rebellion 2 — Eclipse

#Needless to say, SS-Eclipse are a great group, but great groups may fall one day too. However, that’s mainly due to summer being a busy season. Even groups such as Ayako is being inactive. Fall is where everything begins again. m33w is coping very well with a large workload, but if you observe their quality of releases,it is filled with flaws and errors. Slow but quality subs are the best which includes SS-Eclipse, Ureshii, ASF, AnimeYoshi and blah blah blah………
