Another episode of Macross Frontier is released. Episode 20 to be exact by LunarAnime. Since I started off watching LunarAnime, I have decided to stick to it to the very end. Speaking of which, I had a Biology competition yesterday, my school won third position thanks to my partner and I. Well, I thought we could have done better, it’s just that the buzzer doesn’t seem to be working…… So we didn’t have any chance of answering much.

Enough of those crap, speaking of Macross Frontier, it is confirmed that it will be set to contain 25 episodes. I halted my watching from episode 17 onwards. I wish to watch it all in one go…… Mostly from what I have heard, Ranka seems to be losing out to Sheryl Nome. I feel rather sad about it. If Alto actually chooses Sheryl, which in my opinion is the most probable choice judging from the previous Macross series, I will feel heartbroken once more. I tend to be very emotional in watching animes. Ranka makes many people hate her, I wonder why’s that, I feel that she is a nice girl on the whole. Well, if Alto ends up with Sheryl, I swear to stop supporting the Macross Franchise once and for all. Let’s wait and see, just like the feeling of dejection which I got after watching the entire season of True Tears. Shinichiro ended up with Hiromi, even though I supported Noe.

I think that’s enough of my rumblings after some time, I have been having Prelims this pass 2 weeks and the competition yesterday. So I didn’t really have much time to relax. Although I did finish up a 2006 anime, it’s called Kamisama Kazoku.

I almost forgot and seemed to have wrote out of point, but back to the topic, I wanted to mention about the voice actress or Seiyu for Ranka Lee in Macross frontier, her name is Nakajima Megumi. Visit offical site to learn more about her, if you do not know yet, this is her debut as a seiyu, she auditioned for the role as Ranka Lee and got it. I read from the net that there were many criticisms of her voice. I feel very sadden by this piece of news. In fact I find her voice very soothing and really suits the character of Ranka Lee. One reason is partly due to her being overshadowed by fellow seiyu, Endo Aya who voices Sheryl Nome. However one cannot deny that Sheryl shares 2 seiyus, one for normal conversation while the other specially for her vocals in singing. This is largely another hint about the significance of Sheryl Nome. Come on man, Macross series should come out with something fresher for the 25th aniversary.
